Flipsnack - process & reflection

To present the major project, I choose making a flipbook rather than making a video.
There were two options which are yumpu or flipsnack.
Although I tried both of them, I found that flipsnack had more diverse functions and options than yumpu. For example, in yumpu, I have to create my portfolio templet using other sources and convert to PDF essentially, but in filpsnack, i can edit and make the templet and refer examples of templet that they have. Also, there were more font styles than photoshop.

Let's have a look at the processes.

On the cover page, I first put the title in the middle with a font from flipsnack.
However, I did not like the plain background so I created the background in photoshop with the pattern that I used in the major project.

I put the background behind of title.

From the next page of the cover page, I made the background quite fade since the illustration and other information should be notable.

Generally, I used photoshop to edit and make templet myself using the eraser tool, shape tool, and special paste into punction as I did in the major project.
This is process of making templet in photoshop.
put the rectangular shape and made it less opacity as 86%.
Brought the image and deleted the background using the eraser tool.

Inserted garment drawings from adobe illustrator on the rectangular shape.
Created swatches using ellipse tool and paste fabrics into.
Put it the drawing that i made by using brush tool with Wacom.
Back to Flipsnack, added the title of design and a little description of garments.

Moreover, this is the last sheet of the flipbook and i put my links on it that people can find out me more.
For the background of flipbook, I uploaded the image that I made the repeat pattern in 2D classes for my major project.

After publishing, I copied the embed link and inserted it to link from my website.

This work made my major project much clear and completed and I pretty much like the results.   I hope others will enjoy having a look at my major project with the flipbook.
