Major project - project 2

Look 4 - Let's spend the night together

Especially at the forth design, it was the hardest work ever I had since I need to draw fabric texture as glossy and sateen on a ruffle skirt.

Furthermore, I went to the library to use Wacom and Wacom pen and spent nearly 5 hours drawing it.

I tested several gold colours which go with red fur, but the first attempt was not great as I imagined and I put badges details inspired by M.I.A.- 'Kala' (2007).
Thus, I added colour on the fur jacket using the brush tool with the magic wand tool to draw in the layout not cross over the outline.
After several attempts, I found the proper gold color for this skirt and draw highlighter and darkness to express glossy texture.
As i did in previous designs, i added leather texture into the belt, bag points, and boots using special paste into(ctrl+shift+alt+v

I finished with adding silver glitter points on the belt and sole. This is the fourth design called "Let's spend the night together"

Look 5 - Watch at that man

Moving onto fifth design called " Watch at that man", I began to add leather texture on the hat, belt, bag detail, and boots all around.

I added the colour in the fur jacket in the same way with 4th design and filled beige colour from the background colour of vinyl record's to be harmonious with the pattern I will put in the trouser.

For adding pattern in the trouser, I used the tool with the magic wand tool(w) and special paste into(ctrl+shift+alt+v) after copy the lp picture.

However, when I use this pattern as it is, it looked like too instance, so that I adjusted the opacity rate to 39% and make it naturally.

After that, I put the silver glitter details on hat an sole and I drew pattern on the bag as you can see through the video.

Look 6 - Aladdin sane

In the sixth design, the most creepy part was the decision of choosing the colour on the ruffle. I tried several colours and i found that black and red gradation is the best.
To have an effect of degradation and chiffon, I used the brush tool, adjusted the opacity rate of brush and painted very carefully and applied black colour with the same opacity onto.

And then I added patterns onto jumpsuit using magic wand tool and special patse into(Ctrl+Shift+Alt+V) as i did usual.

I finished sixth design with adding the glitter points on the belt and sole.

I can not say that it was easy, but I learned lots of skills from photoshop by struggling my self. Moreover, i had never tried illustration with photoshop, but I will definitely use these skills in the next project as well since using photoshop is much more effective in changing colours and adding patterns than hand drawing. Also, I will discover more about photoshop to be a photoshop master. It was a lot of fun work!
