Major project : initial sketches & process

To begin with a major project, I had initial rough sketches and processes of colouring.

I inspired from '80s fashion trends with a big belt, puff and frill details and recent fashion trends with faux fur and puff shoulder. It is called "Newtro" which means combination of new and retro.

Moreover, as I draw LP artwork into clothes as my own style.

As soon as finishing initial sketches, i needed to choose the colouring methods - hand drawing or photoshop.  So I had thought which way would be worth in short term, and the answer was using photoshop. However, i was frightened to utilise photoshop tools since I was not used to it. 

Nevertheless, tutor told me that this way would be much easier to draw and change colours instead of hand drawing. Thus, I learnt it by asking tutor and friends and made it this works. It was indeed more efficient way to draw, especially 

For face, hair and body expression, i choose to paint with marker pens and watercolour. 

This is the practice that i have done before dig in.

The reason why i choose red coloured hair was to match with all of designs, because main colour in collection is red.

Also, this collection is for young ladies aged 18-25 and i painted a face with pink blush and red lip to look young.
