Reflection on Digital Art

I am so glad that I finished this term with great results. I am proud that I have learned many skills about digital programmes, which I had never experienced before. When I created my Blog and website, every part looked like difficult and I thought I could not deal with those. However, now I get used to it pretty much and am glad that I learnt those skills before becoming first year student at University.


- Blog
It was difficult to write about my reflections and thought on my blog, since i had never done it before. And I was sometimes frustrated that I am not good at it. However, thankfully, through this lesson, I learned how to explain my thought and reflection on my works and it was also helpful at 2D and 3D media classes.


- Digital technique (Photoshop, Illustration)
I was not used to use digital programmes before entering this college. However, with so many workshops and tutors' helpful explanations, I can now use many skills on Photoshop and I can make fashion specs with Illustrator. I used to think that I was not able to draw fashion illustration with photoshop particularly because i have done it only with hand drawing. However, I asked to tutor in the workshop and classes and my friends how to use it and they helped me a lot, before I could make my portfolio successfully, I am satisfied more with my illustrations and final boards than previous illustrations that i drew by my hand. I am feeling glad that I could learn the skills before entering university.


- Major project
When I had this project at the first time, I had literally no idea, since I don't know how to design clothes without any instructions and don't have much experiences. However, I could do this with huge help from tutors and lots of researches. I spent much time on this major project and put many efforts into it to make it with great results. Even though I started quite late and time was tight, I enjoyed my designs and the process and I am satisfied with the completion of the present. Learning more about fashion design, I feel convinced that this progressive route is right way for my future. Nevertheless, I found that I have to study more about fashion terms and designs, and learn techniques for fashion illustration for next project. In the next new project, I would like to do better work with development.


- Website
It was highly new to me and I had never thought that I will have my website in very near future(now). However, after I had the experience of building my website, I found that this is the best way that i can present my projects and portfolios to strangers or future employers. I am not really satisfied with my website regarding design and outline in overall, so that I reckon that I need to develop more on my website during holiday. Furthermore, I am happy that I knew Wix is existing, which I can create the website without any costs and in highly easy way, since this attempt would be helpful in my future . Moreover, I am so glad that I learned the way of making flipbook through flipsnack. This work was also worth to present my portfolio efficiently, because I can show it more visually.








In this digital class, I have attempted many things and learned new skills such as digital skills. Even if I made some mistakes during conducting my works, I learned new skills from that mistakes. Therefore, this digital class was being many help to me. I want to be developed and skilful in the next session after self-studying during holiday.I am also thankful to tutors and friends who have helped me.
