Set project - Artist research

When I came across initial inspiration and ideas about marine creatures, a theme of Victoria's Secret collection crossed my mind. The theme is called "Aquatic angels" was a parade of mermaid goddesses in undergarments embellished with pearls and their wings crafted like shells and held in 2011.

Also, this was the first lingerie collection that I watched and it was enough to fascinate me so I watched this collection more than 20 times. According to Critchell (2011), Miranda Kerr wore Fantasy Bra which studded diamonds costs $2.5 million in Aquatic angels collection. As I did research about this collection, I brought and looked at the illustrations which designers created.

Sketches of ideas for the show are pinned to the wall at the Victoria's Secret headquarters in New York.

Photos of 69 looks to be worn are organized on a whiteboard at Victoria's Secret Manhattan headquarters.

With this research, I found that what sorts of materials and features that I can refer to regarding aquatic creatures. I will not create a new collection similar to Victoria's Secret collection designing with wings and crowns, but It gave me enough help on how to approach and begin it. I am looking forward to beginning the project and developing my idea.
