Final show - Poster design

This is the poster for the final show in this term. I created this with the outcomes from the last project and pink background with white flower details. Before creating this, I had a few ideas to design the poster. I imagined it in different ways, but these ware not efficient to attract attention. So that I finally arranged the bra drawings at the top and bottom as hiding half of those and put the title as 'Untied ribbon' in the middle. The reason why I decided the title like this was when I came up with about queen Marie Antoinette which was the theme of the last term and I came across her hat-dresses-details-ribbon. The ribbon has a visual effect that looks pretty, but it is a symbolic object that binds and suppresses something. The ribbon was a tool for suppressing women by tying them up in the 18th century, but as an act of releasing this ribbon, I intended to contain the meaning of relieving the oppression.

This was my first time creating and designing the poster, so I struggled a lot with processing like choosing font styles and arranging the objects and icons. I satisfy with the outcome because the title catches the eyes and people can see what it is about.  However, with this experience, I will not hesitate and have the confidence to create a new poster in the future.

In addition, I recreated my logo design using the website - Free logo design. The reason why I changed the logo design was that the older one did not have my full name and it was pretty difficult to identify that it is my brand logo. Thus, I recreated it with my full name and the website suggested the design when I typed my name. Nevertheless, there were many examples that the website suggested, I chose this design because the font looked like handwriting, unique and the overall design fits on the brand mood I expected like modern and feminine.
