Set project - 2nd design (Leafy sea dragon)

This is the 2nd design process and final outcome called Leafy sea dragon.

I would like to expression of gradation from orange to neon yellow and tried it a few times, but it didn't work as much as I expected. So, I did some colour experiments and I decided to change whole colours.

I found different pictures of leafy sea dragon which has different colours and I thought these colours would be connected with other designs.

This is how I experimented the main colours.

After applying colours, I drew mesh details on the cups with coral coloured pencils.

I drew leafy lace pattern around the cups.

Finally, This is final work for bra design.

This design was a bit challenging during choosing the colours and giving the texture on. However, I like the general colours with watercolour and think the unique feature of this creature is well expressed on the design.
